COVID-19 UPDATE (3/31/2020)

Hey Church Family,
NorthPointe Church will be streaming our Sunday morning service online, until further notice.  We will not host any on-campus activities.  However, we  want to stay connected during this time!  We have several platforms we are using to keep you informed.  These include:
Facebook (Click here) - Find us and “like” us to get updates in your news feeds.
Website (nplife.com) - We have added a “COVID-19” button to our menu bar on the website to let you know what we are doing and how we are responding.
NorthPointe Church App (Click here) - The church app is the best place to know how we are responding to COVID-19, give your tithes and offerings, and watch us live or previous messages. Connecting is a critical component for the body of Christ.  In our ministries to preschoolers through senior high students we are taking some intentional steps to stay connected with your kids and students.
Preschool (Birth-4 year olds) - Keep and eye out for Story Time With Mrs. Whitney on Facebook.  We will post these on Facebook at 3 pm on Sundays.  She will be reading from the Jesus Story Book Bible.
Kids (K-4th Grades) - Join us on Wednesday Nights at 6:15 pm via Zoom.  You can download the Zoom app on a phone or tablet, or you can connect through a web browser.  Zoom allow us to interact and have discussions through virtual meetings.  We will be e-mailing out a link to Zoom.
Pre-teens (5th & 6th Grades) - We have amazing Pre-teen Leaders!  We are working with their schedules to provide the same experience as the kids via Zoom.  We will keep you updated on their first meeting.  Please pray for them all but specifically for Jessica and Gabby as they work at hospitals in the area.
Students (7th-12th Grades) - Students will be joining Dooley via Zoom at 6:15  on Wednesday evenings.  Dooley will be e-mailing students a link to Zoom.

We would love to serve you during this time.  Click here if there is any specific need you my have or click here for prayer requests. We encourage you to pray for us as well.
Keep Shining Bright,
 Your NorthPointe Staff

COVID-19 UPDATE (3/19/2020)

We want to keep you informed.  Check this page regularly for the latest message from Pastor Chris and our staff  about what we are doing to keep people safe during this time.
Dear NorthPointe Family,
The staff and I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you and provide an update on our response to the latest orders issued by the city of Burleson and the recommendations of health officials in light of the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak.
I want to remind you of the message I shared last Sunday. In the midst of uncertainty, God is certain. Choose to have faith over fear.  We should…“Be still and know that I am God!” Psalm 46:10. God is still sovereign over all things. This did not surprise him. He is still ruling and reigning. Our response needs to be one of faith and trust in him, not fear and panic!  Also, as we are being still, we need to pray until the peace comes! The promise of God is that if we will choose not to be anxious in all things, “the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7.
  1.  For the next 2 Sundays (March 22 and March 29), our campus will be closed and we will be live streaming our worship service. You can access the stream on our website (nplife.com), on our Facebook page and on the NorthPointe App. Also, if you have a streaming device connected to your tv (Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV), you can download the Boxcast App and search for NorthPointe Church and watch on your tv.
  2.  For the next 2 weeks (March 23-27 and March 30-April 3), we will be suspending all regular on campus activities.
  3.  We want to encourage you to continue to give your tithes and offerings to the Lord during this time. This is an opportunity for us to express our faith in God’s ability to provide for our every need. You can give on our website (nplife.com), through the NorthPointe App, through text to give at 206.859.9405 keyword “nplife”, through mail (2450 SW Wilshire Blvd. Burleson, TX 76028) or you can drop it off in person at the office M-Th 9-4:30.
  4.  We will continue to communicate with you frequently and send you encouragement and updates.  The methods of communication will be through email, our Facebook page, our website and through the NorthPointe App. If you have not downloaded the NorthPointe App, this would be a great time to do that. And if you have downloaded it, make sure you turn on your push notifications for the NorthPointe App. We will be sending out push notifications periodically through the app.
  5.  The next major update will be sent out via all of the above methods on Thursday, April 2. In that update we will alert you to any changes in our schedule moving forward.
  6.  Please let us know how this is affecting you and if there is anything we can do to assist you during this time. Even if it is making a grocery run for you, we would be happy to serve you in any way!
We want to encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities God gives you to demonstrate what faith and trust in Jesus looks like in the midst of uncertainty and the peace only he can provide. Pray for us as we try to navigate you through this challenging time. We need God’s wisdom and discernment. Pray for our national, state and local officials. Pray for our first responders and healthcare workers who are on the frontlines. Pray protection for those who are healthy and healing for those who are sick. Pray knowing that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16

In His Love and By His Grace,
Pastor Chris and Your NorthPointe Staff
